'Audiocontrol' is a company backed by a high level of training in the area of hearing aid fitting, both due to the fact that it employs holders of advanced certificates in Audioprosthetics and due to the experience it has gained over the years.
It was founded in 1996, and its Managing Director is Josep Maria Planas, an audioprosthologist with 18 years' experience in this field, experience acquired both in Spain and in the United States (San Francisco, California).

We have seen that this objective can only be attained by combining two essential factors:
1. The fitting of high-quality hearing aids
Currently, electronic engineering has allowed for the creation of hearing aids with digital microprocessors which have the following important advantages, among others:
· Automatic hearing aids which adjust their volume level in just thousandths of a second (the 'free hands' ones).
· Automatic control and elimination of uncomfortable 'whistles' from the hearing aid.
· Automatic detector of the presence of speech.
· Greater power in a smaller space: practically invisible hearing aids.
· Etc.
All of these characteristics provide the user with a clear, natural, comfortable sound.
2. Exhaustive monitoring of the fit
The audioprosthologists at 'Audiocontrol' use the latest software to maximally adjust the hearing aid to the individual needs of people with hearing problems.
The Centre establishes a regime of periodical monitoring of:
· The hearing aid: Optimisation of the parameters for the individual need of the user, a check of the functioning (a check of battery consumption, earphones and microphones, ...) and condition of the hearing aid (the cleaning of hearing aids and molds through vacuum, ultrasound and dehumidification systems, ...).
· The user's hearing: Hearing tests and complementary monitoring tests in order to readjust the hearing aid perfectly.
